Overview
The Goal
Orange Tree wanted a portfolio site that felt nothing like a generic agency template. Carson and the team had a clear reference point: the storytelling depth of Magnum Opus paired with the colour palette and visual weight of early Google and eBay. The site needed to anchor on real client work (Topshelf, Sip, Bitter Truth, Seljaas) and convince prospective athletes and creators that Orange Tree could build their brand from concept through manufacturing.
The Challenge
The hardest part was translating four very different client projects into a single visual system without flattening them. Each case study has its own merch line, its own audience, and its own colour story. We needed scrolling case-study sections that felt distinct on the way down but stayed coherent overall, hover and motion details that read as craft instead of decoration, and a mobile experience that kept the same rhythm on a narrow screen.
The Result
Site launched at orangetree.studio with the full scrolling case study system in place, custom hover behaviour, and the vintage-internet typographic treatment intact. Carson signed off on the homepage, case study template, and mobile layout. Orange Tree now has a portfolio site that does the job of selling the work on its own.
