Pete's Natural
Pete's Natural is a 100% NZ sodas brand out of Motueka. We built a 15-second 3D animation loop for their hologram fan display: logo, lemon burst, glass bottle, and can, each modelled and lit so it stays sharp through the fan's washout.

Overview
The Goal
Marleen and the Pete's Natural team wanted a hero asset for their hologram fan installations: the kind of in-store display that pulls a shopper's eye from across the aisle. The brief was a 15-second seamless loop that opens with the Pete's Natural logo, breaks into a lemon burst, reveals the glass bottle in full detail, and closes on the can. Every frame needed to read clearly on a spinning LED fan without losing the brand's hand-made feel.
The Challenge
Hologram fans are unforgiving. The LEDs wash out subtle colour, soft shadows disappear, and anything moving against a dark background turns into mush. We had to redesign the colour balance and contrast specifically for the medium, model the glass bottle and liquid from scratch (no stock asset reads correctly at that scale), and build the loop so the final frame flowed back into the first without a visible seam. The lemon burst sequence alone needed multiple particle-density passes before it held up on the actual hardware.
The Result
Delivered the final 15-second loop in March 2026. The animation runs cleanly on the hologram fan in-store, with the bottle and can scenes added as a second phase once the brand wanted to show both formats. Marleen signed off on the final cut without revisions to the hero sequence. The asset is now in rotation across their retail displays.
